Dear Participants,
It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to Istanbul, Turkey and the 2011
ITU International Model United Nations (IIMUN) conference hosted by Istanbul
Technical University Development Foundation Schools Private Ekrem Elginkan
High School from November 17th to November 20th ’ 2011.
This year's conference will draw attention to fundamental issues of global
importance. The focus will be on concrete solutions and ways to make our
world a better and more secure place to live in.
We will have four General Assembly committees and two councils in our
program. The issues for each committee can be viewed online.
This year’s conference theme is ‘’Aspire to Inspire’’. One who aspires to inspire
is always passionate about helping individuals move beyond their limitations
and help them see that they can do and be what they envision. We hope you
enjoy your visit to Istanbul and have a successful conference. We also hope
that your resolutions will contribute to a brighter future. The choice is yours!
