As a whole ITU was established in 1773, when Mustafa the third was wearing the crown. Firstly, it was giving education on cartography and construction of ships. However, in 1795 a new divison has been manufactured in order to improve the technical staff of land army. After this development new divisons continued to establish until 1946. In 1946 university become an individual university, consisted of Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering. Ayazağa campus, which our high school is located, is the main campus through out all of the campuses. Ayazağa campus is located in the heart of the city and covers a 247 hectare area. It contains the 7 of the 12 faculties and 4 of the 5 institutions. Also, Mustafa İnan Library, Art and Culture Association, Sport Association and 75th Year Student Social Center are locations that keep this heart bumping. Also, domestic transportation around the campus is available. The stations are the yellow lines on pavements and it travels to everywhere in campus.
